Installing Mysql,vscode,flutter,python And Javascript On Mac Os

1. Installing MySQL

Using Homebrew:

  1. Install Homebrew (if you don't have it already):

     shCopy code/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"
    
  2. Install MySQL:

     shCopy codebrew install mysql
    
  3. Start MySQL:

     shCopy codebrew services start mysql
    
  4. Secure MySQL Installation:

     shCopy codemysql_secure_installation
    

Direct Download:

  1. Download MySQL Community Server from MySQL Downloads.

  2. Install the DMG file and follow the prompts.

  3. Start MySQL using System Preferences > MySQL.

2. Installing Visual Studio Code (VSCode)

  1. Download VSCode from the official website.

  2. Open the downloaded file and drag the VSCode icon to the Applications folder.

  3. Launch VSCode from the Applications folder.

3. Installing Flutter

  1. Download the Flutter SDK from the Flutter website.

  2. Extract the ZIP file to a desired location (e.g., ~/development).

  3. Add Flutter to your PATH by adding the following to your ~/.zshrc or ~/.bash_profile:

     shCopy codeexport PATH="$PATH:`pwd`/flutter/bin"
    
  4. Run Flutter Doctor to check dependencies:

     shCopy codeflutter doctor
    

4. Installing Python

Using Homebrew:

  1. Install Python:

     shCopy codebrew install python
    
  2. Verify the installation:

     shCopy codepython3 --version
    

Direct Download:

  1. Download Python from the Python website.

  2. Run the installer and follow the prompts.

  3. Verify the installation:

     shCopy codepython3 --version
    

5. Installing JavaScript

JavaScript is installed with Node.js, which includes npm (Node Package Manager).

Using Homebrew:

  1. Install Node.js:

     shCopy codebrew install node
    
  2. Verify the installation:

     shCopy codenode --version
     npm --version
    

Direct Download:

  1. Download Node.js from the Node.js website.

  2. Run the installer and follow the prompts.

  3. Verify the installation:

     shCopy codenode --version
     npm --version
